Who we are
It all began in the Netherlands, in 1986, by a few friends, who were young and fanatic skiers. They loved being on skis in the mountains and worked hard to stay in shape to maintain and improve, their ski/snowboard technique to the max, year-round. During the winter they were all passionately active in the snow as ski instructors.
This is how the idea was born to develop a training tool for their own needs. With their combined mechanical engineering knowledge and experience, the first prototype was quickly produced, and since then, lots of work has been done to further its development. Because there are no mountains here in the Netherlands, yet there are thousands of people who really enjoy going skiing or snowboarding, the prototype has been continuously developed in order to service the ever-changing market. Maxxtracks was officially established in 1991.
Our deep-seated love of winter sports and the urge to let others experience it too, allowed us to bring the artificial indoor ski-slope to the market. Our very first artificial ski slope, built in Heemskerk (NL), is still up and running, which since opening, has been enjoyed by thousands of customers learning there.

The ski-slopes are not only used in ski-centers, but also in sports clubs, climbing halls, jumping centers, outdoor activity centers, rehabilitation centers, and so on.
